A wooden drawer slide (or wood-on-wood drawer slide) is a traditional drawer guiding system made entirely or partially of wood, where the drawer moves along wooden rails or grooves without modern metal or ball-bearing mechanisms. These slides were commonly used in antique furniture and classic cabinetmaking before the widespread adoption of metal slides.
